World Cafe: Next – Irish Singer-Songwriter Declan O’Rourke Poised for US Release October 14, 2013 - Declan O’Rourke’s third album Mag Pai Zai is coming out in the States. The Dublin based writer has already garnered praise abroad for his third album
with none other than Paul Weller expounding that O’Rourke’s song “Galileo” is “possibly the greatest song written in the last 30 years.” He writes about love but also about history with an equal amount of ease and gravity. It’s time for this music to cross the ocean. We’ll play two from the new album which are available to download in our podcast.
