Vintage Cafe For Sense Of Place: Toronto - Broken Social Scene From 2006

November 11, 2013 - Broken Social Scene is on hiatus now but here is a session made when they were much more than a band big in Toronto. It was 2006 and the Broken Social Scene album was out.
Strong performances and a conversation with the always delightful leaders of the band Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. They both join us this Wednesday after sitting down to record during our recent trip to Toronto: Brendan plays live and Kevin, along with Jeffrey Remedios his co-head of Arts & Crafts Records, talks about the label which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.
