Snow Patrol

February 20, 2013 - In 2006, after 4 albums together, Snow Patrol had a worldwide hit with their song “Chasing Cars.” And the band’s new disc, Fallen Empires, proves that lead singer Gary Lightbody has lost none of his songwriting charm. But the stellar record was not easy to come by- Lightbody battled writer’s block during the creation of the new album.
He talks about it, and how he overcame the problem. Plus, the French duo Air. Their debut was 1998’s Moon Safari and for their latest they return to outer space, writing an album to Georges Méliès groundbreaking 1902 film, Le Voyage Dans La Lune. They’ll share what it was like to collaborate on the iconic masterpiece.
