They released a pair of EPs independently before catching the ears of 4AD records who released their debut album If You Leave this past March. Elena's music is very personal and she and her band mates, guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella, worked on the album for over a year. The songs have found homes in commercials, film and TV shows. A delightful performance coming up today.
