Nashville’s Wild Feathers Don’t Play Americana, They Play American Music.

January 8, 2014 - Our guests today the Nashville based band Wild Feathers play what they call American music. They call it that to distinguish it from Americana music

, the rootsy country music influenced style prevalent in Nashville. Plus they want you to know they rock more!

The four members of the band, Ricky Young, Joel King, Taylor Burns and Preston Wimberly come from Texas and Oklahoma and jammed on Stones songs all night when they first met. We'll hear the songs from their debut album plus a Tom Petty cover in our live set.
