January 14, 2014 - The Georgia based band Of Montreal made their first album in 1987 and leader Kevin Barnes has made each album since then a step forward.
But the new one Lousy With Sylvianbriar represents a major turn toward revering the songwriting process for Barnes and away from layering the backing tracks and relying on a dazzling live show. We'll talk with him about how artists like Dylan and Leonard Cohen have become guides, and hear live performances from on stage at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
