January 31, 2014 - We are welcoming the Dublin based band Bell X-1 back to the World Cafe. Their sixth album Chop Chop was released last summer. The album started with the name Chop Chop and it all flowed from there. What the band wanted to do was to simplify their process and they ended up with some of their strongest songs yet. Bell X-1 was formed out of another band led by Damien Rice. When Damien went solo Paul Noonan became the songwriter and the band went on to become such a huge success at home that they are second only to U2 as a live draw. We’ll hear a full live set from them today.
