Tony Joe White Brings His Wha Wha Pedal And “A Mess O’Polk Salad” Live

February 5, 2014 - The master of Swamp Rock, the genre he pretty much invented in 1969 with his first album Black and White and the huge hit "Polk Salad Annie," Tony Joe White visits us today. >Elvis was a fan covering "Polk Salad." White also wrote another huge hit for Brook Benton in 1970, "Rainy Night In Georgia." He has kept it pure over the years bringing his legendary wha wha pedal and drummer to keep it swampy. He has a new album simply called Hoodoo. We will hear music from it and a version of his classic “Polk Salad Annie.”
