Quilt

The Warm Woven Music of Boston’s Quilt

Our guests today, Quilt, are a former World Cafe: Next artist who recently released their second album Held In Splendor on Mexican Summer records. The two main members, Shane Butler and Anna Fox Rochinski, met at Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts. They bonded over shared 60's idealism and a love of stacked harmonies. There is no report that they used the word psychedelic although many do in discussing the band. Their debut came out in 2011 and Quilt recently released their second disc called Held in Splendor. Their interweaving playing together goes a long way to explain why they chose the name Quilt.
