Polock

World Cafe: World Cafe: Next – Are Polock the Spanish Phoenix?

April 21, 2014 - We have a new World Cafe: Next artist this week, Polock, and they are from Spain. They record for Nacional Records which normally releases music recorded in Spanish. This is different. Polock, originally from Valencia, have always written and sung in English - as they call it, “the language of rock.” Their debut was called Getting Down From Trees so it is appropriate that the new album is called Rising Up. We'll play a couple of more than just catchy songs that you can download as our World Cafe: Next podcast.
