Meshell Ndegeocello Still Stretching on New Album Comet, Come To Me


Meshell Ndegeocello is our guest today with a beautiful live performance of music from her new album Comet, Come To Me and more.

Ndegeocello became known in the 90's as one of the first signings to Madonna's Maverick record label. Her song "If That's Your Boyfriend (He Wasn't Last Night)" was a hit and she harnessed her wide ranging talent and interests to the pop music game for a while before she turned to more eclectic fare with the album Bitter. Her experimentation has continued including her last album Pour une Âme Souveraine: A Dedication to Nina Simone. She'll talk about the challenges performing Simone's music and more.
