Sarah McLachlan

Sarah McLachlan Tells How Her Life Including Her Father’s Passing and a Divorce Shaped Her New Album Shine On

Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan is back with her first new album in four years called Shine On. With albums like the platinum Fumbling Toward Ecstasy in 1994 and her efforts helming the 1997 all-female Lilith Tour, Sarah is the poster child for the 90’s singer-songwriter movement. In our conversation today she talks about how recent changes in her life including her divorce and the death of her father have impacted her life and work. She still sounds just as committed to the message of her early work and still sounds great in the performances we’ll hear today.
