Delta Spirit’s New Album Survived Hurricane Sandy

September 10, 2014 - Delta Spirit join us live today. Right from the first album Ode To Sunshine in 2007 we've been big fans of the trashcan mashing band Delta Spirit. Yesterday they released their new album, their fourth, Into The Wide and they join us live today.

Lead singer Matt Vasquez is a force of nature and the band has put together a bunch of really good new songs. Originally from San Diego, the band now lives in New York and, as we'll hear today, Hurricane Sandy flooded their practice space. It turned out not to be such a bad thing after all as the album still came out sounding great.
