When band members with strong connections to solo careers and other bands get together, I have a wait and see attitude. Are they committed? I can assure you that our guests today, a supergroup of sorts, comprising Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, session guitarist Tom Bukovac, singer Joan Osborne, singer/songwriter and Black Crowes guitarist Jackie Greene and bassist Nick Govrik are committed. The singers, Osborne and Green, love singing duets with each other and the band possesses enormous instrumental fire power. We'll talk with Gorman, Joan and Jackie Greene about how Trigger Hippy came together, and hear some performances from the stage of World Cafe Live of music from Trigger Hippy’s new self-titled album.
