It’s time for a new World Cafe: Next artist for this week. It is an artist we actually first heard about from our affiliate WFPK in Louisville, KY during our Sense of Place series visit. Her name is Joan Shelley. In the past she has recorded with fellow Kentuckian Daniel Martin Moore. Now her very quiet, very intimate debut full-length called Electric Ursa is here. Prepare to climb inside as we hear a couple of songs.
