Our guests today are from Glasgow. They are the drum and guitar duo of Honeyblood. The band's debut album was recorded with songwriter Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale on guitar and vocals, and Shona McVicar on drums. Shona has since left the band with Cat Myers taking over on drums for our session today. The band was signed to the Scottish indie Fatcat from a two song cassette demo. Influences on the debut album produced by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Frightened Rabbit) include Sonic Youth and even PJ Harvey. We'll hear a live set.
