Lilly and Madeleine are sisters from Indianapolis, Indiana.  After harmonizing on other people’s songs and posting on YouTube they were discovered by their original producer.  People at Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty label heard those performances and issued their debut last year.  Their new one, Fumes, came out this Fall.  To give you an idea how young they were when they started, Lilly is now 17 and Madeline turned 20 in October.  First you notice the gorgeous sibling harmonies and then it becomes apparent that they can write as well.  Lily and Madeleine make their Cafe debut today.
