Cookies Play Bright Breezy Non-Fattening Electro-Pop

Ben Sterling leads our guests today, the band Cookies. Before Cookies Sterling led Mobius Band, a group he formed at Wesleyan. As that band faded, for the first time Sterling had a chance to figure out what his music sounded like. Turns out on Cookies debut album Music For Touching it sounds like bright breezy electro-pop with a surprisingly high production value. Which is a challenge considering he records much of it himself. We will hear a four piece version of Cookies with drummer Cinque Kemp, the bassist Aakaash Israni, and the singer Ashley Giorgi play live.
