On our recent visit to Lafayette, LA for our Sense of Place series a number of people mentioned the band Feufollet as one to watch. Today we make them our World Cafe: Next artist. The new album iscalled Two Universes and that has multiple references. Including the French and English language and culture of Southwest Louisiana, the band's two songwriters Chris Stafford and Kelli Jones-Savoy, but also to my ears the band’s ability to straddle the worlds of tradition and pop.
