The new album What For? is definitely a change from the sound of the previous record Anything In Return. The emphasis this time is on guitar rather than the electronics and keyboards of the last record. Toro Y Moi debuted in 2010 with Causers of This and got lumped in with bands with the Chillwave moniker which even them was not accurate as to what Chaz was doing.
