A very interesting artist in the studio today. It's Matthew E White from Richmond, Virginia. Matthew and his crew formed a production company there with a studio and called the enterprise Spacebomb. White and Spacebomb’s first album, 2012’s Big Inner, was produced primarily as a demo of the group’s strengths. As such there are horns, strings, backing vocals all included in service to a number of styles. Big Inner was a critical smash and sent Matthew and his music all over the globe. His new album, Fresh Blood, continues in much the same vein and the band joins us in the studio to play live.
