The London Souls

The London Souls Rocco Peditto/WXPN
London Souls Are Not What They Appear To Be

Our guests today, The London Souls, are not from London. They are a drum and guitar duo from Brooklyn. But they are not a stereotypical Brooklyn hipster band either . They carve their music out of the best of the 60's psychedelic soul and rock. Tash Neal on guitar and Chris St. Hilaire on drums have extraordinary communication live. On record their music sounds like an undiscovered gem of British psychedelic rock, a lost Cream song. The formed in 2008 and released their debut in 2012. Their new album Here Come The Girls was finished a while ago but before it could be released Tash was in a hit and run accident from which he is just fully recovering. It's a strong performance with London Souls recorded live on stage at World Cafe Live.
