Starting her career in Maine as Lady Lamb The Beekeeper, Aly Spaltro’s work has always been on the quirky side. Since releasing her national debut Ripely Pine in 2013, Spaltro toured a lot and she and her 3-piece band, now known simply as Lady Lamb, have definitely developed a more rock and pop edge on her second album After. Her cleverness remains intact. We’ll find out today about her method in gathering ideas for songs and the very unusual story of her relative who was named a saint and became part of the song “Billions of Eyes.”
