Hop Along

Hop Along – Frances Quinlan’s Small Moments At Their Emotional Height

We are very excited to play you a live set from the Philadelphia rock band Hop Along as part of our Sense of Philly week. They recently put out a new disc called Painted Shut, their first on Saddle Creek Records. The band had more folkie beginnings in 2004 when lead vocalist and songwriter Frances Quinlan started recording during her senior year of high school. Things started to change in 2008 when her brother joined her on drums, and then she later added bassist Tyler Long and guitarist Joe Reinhardt. In 2014 they were signed to Saddle Creek. Frances Quinlan's vocal performance is spectacular in the set we have for you of old and new songs.
