For our Sense of Place: Philly we have a new singer-songwriter that we claim even though she plies her trade in Nashville. She is Liz Longley. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, she got her start here. She played in local clubs before moving to Boston to attend Berkelee College of Music. Her musical travels led her Nashville where she used a Kickstarter campaign to make the album she always wanted and then waited until she was in the right situation to put it out into the world. That time is now, as it has just come out on Sugar Hill Records.
