While we wait for a new album from Ed Droste and Grizzly Bear – it has been 3 years since Shields in 2012 – we thought we would give a listen to their 2009 session around the time of the Veckatimest album for this week’s Vintage Cafe. The music is great and Ed and company lead us through a conversation about the importance of place, different ways of presenting songs to the band and the let-down when their work is leaked before they are ready.
