Ike Reilly returns to the World Cafe today with his seventh album called Born On Fire. Ike is a tough, cocky thoroughly charming rock and roll singer from Libertyville, Illinois outside Chicago. Besides Ike other famous people from Libertyville include Marlon Brando, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and the late comedian Chris Farley. The title track of Ike's new album is going to be in the new film about Farley's life. Born On Fire is being released jointly on Morello's new Firebrand Records. Ike tells us the story of the hard-drive that ate the first recordings of his new album and his band The Ike Reilly Assassination sing live.
