The Witty And Down Home Charm Of Mississippi Songwriter Paul Thorn

It's time for a Vintage Cafe today and we go back to 2008 for a session with a charming and witty songwriter from Mississippi, Paul Thorn. Thorn grew up in a Pentecostal home in Tupelo and in his twenties had a career as a boxer - the high point was going 6 rounds against Roberto Duran. All this was before he released his first album in 1997. Today's session was around the time of the release of his disc A Long Way From Tupelo.
