Wynonna Judd has certainly had her share of the country music spotlight. It started with her mom Naomi in The Judds who ruled in the Eighties. From the start of their career in 1983 they had fourteen number one country hits.
Wynonna started her solo career in 1992 and her first solo album had 3 #1 hits itself, including the #1 song of the year. Cut to 2015 when country radio is not playing a lot of women including “heritage artists” like Wynonna. Sure she can sell out weeks in Las Vegas reuniting the Judds with her mom, but Wynonna is still interested in trying something new. That’s Wynonna & The Big Noise. After a well-received set at SXSW she joined us at this year's NonCommvention. She made believers out of a room of the merely curious.
