Boy & Bear

Australia’s Boy And Bear Discover New Strengths In Recording Live

The Australian band Boy and Bear have a folk rock sound often compared to Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons. The group is just starting to make inroads in North America, but at home their first album went platinum, their second debuted at # 1 and their third, Limit Of Love, just out this year, did the same. The band, which was originally a solo project, is centered on the songwriting of lead singer Dave Hosking. This new album is far more a group effort with the band writing communally and recording live in Peter Gabriel’s Real Word Studio with Ethan Johns producing.
