Our Artist To Watch in April is Melbourne, Australian singer songwriter (and actress) Grace Cummings. Grace released her recent album, Storm Queen, this past January and debuted in 2019 out of Australia’s indie-music scene with her debut album, Refuge Cove. Grace has an arresting, striking, and unique vocal style. The songs on the album are intimate and beautifully expressive. Cummings was raised on a musical diet of Bob Dylan, Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly, traditional Irish folk, and played drums in AC/DC and Jimi Hendrix cover bands. Grace will be featured in a World Cafe interview and performance during Non-COMM in May.
