PRESS PLAY: New Albums out April 1st!

Welcome to a new month and another round of new releases. Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Unlimited Love is a return to form in more ways than one: the California icons reunite not only with wayward guitarist John Frusciante, but with classic-era producer Rick Rubin. Fellow Californian Christian Lee Hutson‘s Quitters features appearances from (and was co-produced by) Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers. Guitar virtuoso Molly Tuttle debuts her new bluegrass-leaning outfit, Golden Highway, on Crooked Tree.

Toronto power-punks PUP gleefully come apart at the seams on THE UNRAVELING OF PUPTHEBAND. Making a quick return after 2020’s comeback set Total Freedom, Kathleen Edwards rearranges a few album highlights for the Dogs and Alcohol EP. Sondre Lerche expands his indie-folk approach with the ambitious (and guest-heavy) Avatars of Love. BeforeAfter offers a comprehensive overview of Daryl Hall‘s solo career, from Sacred Songs to recent live performances at his celebrated home studio.
