Elastic Bond

Miami’s Retro Electronica Hip-Hop Funk Tropical Elastic Bond Release "REAL"

July 1, 2013 - Elastic Bond are a new group from Miami who resist all stereotypes for a Latin band. Yes, there is a breezy tropical element to their sound.

But also a few funky horns and some cool retro-leaning samples and ultra-hip lyrics. Nacional Records had been searching the Miami music scene for a long time looking for a band with something special. From the variety of music on their debut, REAL, they seem to have found it. A Venuzuelan producer Andres Ponce and a Honduran singer Sofy Cantato become the perfect combination when you drop influences like A Tribe Called Quest and Julieta Venegas into the mix. Check out REAL.
