Caroline Rose

Caroline Rose: Singer Songwriter from Vermont With Southern Tendencies
September 2, 2013 - Singer-songwriter Caroline Rose grew up in Vermont with her performing parents. So it is not too far a stretch to imagine she would become a performer herself.

What is a little surprising is the grit in this young woman’s performance. Turns out her folks are from the South and there were many trips and exposures to Southern culture along the way. She started writing in her early teens and has continued, writing a lot of her debut full-length American Religious on the road. It’s tough sounding record with blues and gospel influences as you will hear.
