Kathleen Edwards

Canadian songstress and Juno Award nominee,  continues a career trajectory on the rise with her new album, Voyageur.

Produced in part by Edward's partner, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), "Voyageur" is deeply personal and genuine. Edwards sings of failed marriages, life in the spotlight, and the delicate happiness of new beginnings. Her acoustic and vocal pairing has brought her comparisons to Gillian Welch, Shelby Lynne, and Aimee Mann, but there's something distinctly alluring about Edwards that's all her own. With contributions from Norah Jones, Stornoway, Justin Vernon, and others, "Voyageur" is dreamy, poetic, quietly sad, and of course, replete with talent.

Kathleen Edwards and her band are heading over to the UK and Europe, then return in late March to California, Portland, and Seattle, before heading up to Vancouver.

In this session, Kathleen takes the stage at World Cafe Live, and performs 5 live songs from her new CD.
