Lake Street Dive - Bad Self Portraits

April 2014 CD of the Month - WXPN Artist To Watch, Lake Street Dive, released their album, Bad Self Portraits. Recent appearances on The Colbert Report, Letterman, and a critically acclaimed performance at the “Another Day/Another Time” concert celebrating the music of Inside Llewyn Davis concert last September at New York’s Town Hall has set this band into a rising star trajectory.
The band’s songs offer a fresh and versatile take on pop, R&B, blues, rock and soul influences with lead singer Rachel Price’s confident voice at the center of the music. Simply put, Lake Street Dive are blowing up.
