Ages and Ages: From President Obama’s iPod to The World Cafe!

May 6, 2014 - Fun session today with Portland’s Ages and Ages making their World Cafe debut. This rock band uses fervent, almost gospel-like sing-a-long choruses to exciting ends live and on their new album Divisionary. You may have heard us play the title song “Divisonary (Do The Right Thing)” and we will hear a rousing live version today. We’ll also have a discussion of what doing the right thing is... Plus talk about the mystery of how a song from their 2011 debut ended up on the President’s campaign iPod in 2012.
