Ryley Walker

Virtuoso Acoustic Guitarist And Songwriter Ryley Walker’s Debut Album

May 14, 2014 - This April acoustic guitarist and songwriter Ryley Walker released his debut album All Kinds Of You. The Chicago resident had previously put out an EP last Fall that focused a lot of positive attention on his 70's inspired acoustic folk music. Artists from the 60’s folk boom such as Bert Jansch and Tim Hardin move Ryley. Those artists also include a jazz feel in what they play, certainly part of Walker's style. We were not surprised to learn that he had previously played in a free jazz context. It's great to meet a folk artist who doesn't take himself too seriously as you will hear!
