Bombay Bicycle Club

Indie Rocker Bombay Bicycle Club’s Travels Bring Back Exciting Music al Influences

June 12, 2014 - Our guests today are the Bombay Bicycle Club a group that formed as teenagers in South London around the songs of Jack Steadman. They took their name from a now defunct chain of London Indian restaurants. The band's initial good fortune in winning the Road To V contest in 2006 earned them an opening spot on the V festival and put them on the map. Their latest album So Long, See You Tomorrow is their fourth overall. Each album moves into some new musical territory and benefits from Steadman’s travels discovering new music. It’s a particularly lively session today.
