June 13, 2014 - We are going to have fun today as Este and Alana the oldest and youngest of the Haim sisters are playing DJ. Haim is a pop-rock band from the San Fernando Valley that also includes middle sister Danielle who was under the weather for our session. Haim may seem like a phenomenon of the last few years as their abundant talent has touched more and more people in live shows and festival appearances and an EP in 2012, but the sisters started working as a trio after singing every gig imaginable in their family’s cover band Rockinghaim when they were kids. Their album Days are Gone came out last year to critical acclaim and sales. So what do the sisters really like musically? What are their influences? They are going to be picking the music today so we’ll find out as we spend the hour with Haim.
