Pearl Jam

October 11, 2013 - This week on Conversations from the World Cafe, Pearl Jam preview their brand new album Lightening Bolt in a special interview led by comedy filmmaker Judd Apatow.
Apatow is the mastermind behind movies such as Anchorman, The 40 Year OId Virgin, and Superbad. Lightning Bolt is Pearl Jam’s 10th disc since releasing their 1991 debut Ten, a record that made them superstars of the emerging grunge scene. Together Apatow and the band discuss a wide range of topics- from why people are moved to tears at concerts to what keeps creativity flowing in both music and film over decades of work. It’s a special broadcast that is both funny and insightful- that’s this week on Conversations from the World Cafe!
